Artist For Obama
At this point it is most likely that it will be Obama VS. McCain in the upcoming general election. Or at least it will be as soon as someone decides to do the right thing for the country and her party and step out of the race.
Now who of the two men you will be voting for is an important question, one that should not be taken lightly. Obama and McCain are two very different men with very different view points on most subjects. Who’s ideas do you like? Who do you think will be the better leader? Who will be better for the economy? Who will be better at world affairs? What will they do in Iraq or Iran? What about health care and social security? All important questions that you must ask yourself before voting.
Not to neglect Mr. McCain, but this article is about Obama and the artist campaign that has been created around him and supported by his camp. It started with Shepard Fairey producing two prints for the Obama campaign. Since then other artist like El Mac, Munk One, Sam Flores and others have gotten in on the action. Whether you support Obama or not, I love seeing artist, especially artist that appeal to the younger generation, getting involved with politics. No matter who you want to vote for, just remember to get out there and vote.
