Ikea Does Japan

The Kobe Portliner Monorail in Japan has been decked out in all things Ikea, creating a very Swedish, mobile showroom.

In a world where reaching prospective clients is becoming harder and harder, Ikea, is using the train as an advertising gimmic. Imaginably, the exposure it will get from traveling across Japan will be tremendous. This advertising campaign is all to promote the April 14th opening of the retail giants new store in Port Island, Japan.

Attention furniture retailers: My apartment is available to be decorated as an advertising gimmic (I assume I can keep the furniture and stop sitting on metal folding chairs and using milk crates as a tv stand, dresser and bookshelf).
