Transit Logos Of The World
Being a born and raised New Yorker, I have a love hate relationship with the public transportation system. Sure the NYC MTA is mismanaged, dirty, slow and getting more and more expensive, but it is still a reasonably priced way to get you to and fro in the city that never sleeps. Beyond the good, the bad and the ugly of public transportation is the logos. Like anything else the logo for a transit system needs to be well thought out and easily recognizable for passengers to know where to get on a train or bus. While the names of these systems tend to always be along the lines of metro or transit, the logos from around the world vary a great deal.
