Billboard Action
Advertising companies use billboards to put what they are selling right in your face, so it is obvious that graffiti writers would take those spots and make them their own to accomplish the same with their name. The two billboards right over the Williamsburg Bridge (BK side) are notorious writer spots. While they have been dormant for a while lately, the spots have been bombed again. This time by MARTY and HUESO of the SMART crew. Fittingly MARTY bombed the GET SMART billboard, opting to throw up MONEY over his name (don’t go getting all political now MARTY). I personally like the alteration done to the McDonalds ad that now reads “HUESO, I’m lovin’ it” - hilarious!
