Cycle Theft Ingenuity
The man in this picture is getting a bad rap as the dumbest bike thief. Not only did he unbolt an entire section of fence to roll away with the bike chained to it, he did this all under the watchful eye of CCTV. He is now facing up to five years in prison for the theft. I say, hold that gavel, Judge Judy, this man is no bike thief. He merely wanted to steal the fence. It is not his fault the bike was attached to it. If you must convict him of anything (besides being Polish), convict him of fence theft, which is a misdemeanor, carrying only a fine of 4 zloty’s. Ok, if you don’t buy that one, at least show some leniency for his commitment!
