Something that our readers should know about the staff here at AS|D LABS is that we love our Truck! Truck is the nickname we use around the office for the Calexico Carne Asada food cart around the corner. We are obsessed with the Cal-Mex cuisine that the 3 brothers, Jesse, Brian and Dave who run the truck deliver, to the point we eat there almost every day. The food they produce is better than anything of its kind you could ever have in any restaurant. To attest to the amazing quality and taste of their food, the Calexico boys took home the top honors at this years Vendy Awards! The Vendy Awards is the organization who picks the creme de la creme of the NYC food cart scene, to compete in a free for all once a year, for the right to be the called the best. Without a doubt the judges got this decision right, picking the best food in NYC hands down (not just from a cart) as their top dog!

You can try the truck for yourself weekdays from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the corner of Prince St. and Wooster St..
