This weekend marks the third year of the Bushwick Open Studio and Arts Festival.  The festival is a self organized event, where anyone living in the neighborhood can open their studios, shops, yards or even homes up to the crowds wishing to see the arts of the area. The festival starts today, June 5th and runs through June 7th. Unfortunately these days also marks the closing of the L train stations between Lorimer St. and Myrtle-Wycoff Ave.’s for track work, which will undoubtedly put a damper on traveling the area this weekend. Regardless, there are over 250 studios that will be open to the public this weekend, so there is sure to be something for all to enjoy. Print your copy of the events PDF and map of the studios here.
