Sander van Heukelom’s “Capchaired”

While browsing the web over the weekend, looking for additional seating for my apartment, I came across the website for “Capchaired“. The site sells stools created by artist Sander van Heukelom and inspired by the nozzles of spray cans. These tiny, forgotten little parts of our daily lives go unnoticed by most (unless you’re a graffiti writer - than you know a lot about these caps), but have now been transformed into unmissable, gigantic seats. Available in two styles, based on spray paint nozzles, the “Hooded Fat Cap” and the “New York Fat Cap” can be custom ordered from the website. Being that no price is listed, I imagine I won’t be owning one of these anytime soon.
