Art, Advertising, Activism & Alchemy is one of the most relevant events I have heard of in some time. The artist talk will include Jordan Seiler, Jason Eppink, Posterchild, and Gabriel “SPECTER” Reese discussing the importance of art, its related community and the cultural issues with illegal and aggressive advertising in public space. Being that this is a topic I hold dear to my heart I will be sitting there front and center! The event is being held at the Wonderland Collective in Astoria, Queens, with doors opening at 7:00 and talks starting at 8:00, concluding with an audience Q&A.
