I will not bore you with too many details when you can click on the links and read for your self.
Briefly: a group of very well-established and innovative developers wrote an open letter to President Barack Obama asking him to consider the value of Open-Source to the government. I strongly encourage everyone to inform themselves in these matters. Technology will continue to play a larger and larger role in our lives. While I am certain that not all of you (unfortunately) will see it my way, I am also certain that only through constructive discourse will be be able to quickly evolve. So please read, learn, opine, discuss, disagree, agree, be contrary, think, and help create a better world.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the proprietor/importer of these very cool, extremely well-made, get you laid and to work on time a few lbs lighter, bicycles. Said importer hails from Holland (land of funny wooden shoes and great Gouda cheese) and brings with her the country’s love for bicycles, good manners, and funny footwear, among other things. For those of you who don’t know, I’m talking about A Black Bike. These are solid Dutch-made bikes. Having built (and crashed) a few bikes from the wheels up, I can confidently say that these things are bullet proof. They come in ladies and gents, as well as, single-speed and three-speed. May I suggest the three-speed in the always stylish color–black.
