As the worlds leading blogger (I am right?), I feel it is my duty to inform the world of amazing websites when I come across them. I mean we all can’t troll the waves of the internet all day in search of the latest news, gossip and just plain interesting. The latest site that I find to be absolutely hilarious is Fail Dogs. With the simple concept of showing canine failures, the site just doesn’t let you down when it comes to poking fun at mans best friend.

It all started as what was claimed to be a nostalgic and sensitive nauseating birthday gift from some dude to his girl who moved to Connecticut (probably to get away from his psycho stalking). The wood cut out of a wide in the seat woman appeared in Greenpoint a few months ago, in the hopes of scamming people into taking pics with her and emailing them into this nut. Needless to say, anything put into public space like this is going to get some tweaks done by the neighbors, which had some sensi-wusses all up in arms (this wasn’t a memorial mural, she just moved 30 minutes away). This is the way the street works, besides bday girl had a good run, and just like waking up the day after your party hungover, covered in puke and in bed with a hairy biker, I am sure she is glad it is all over!
TruthThroughAction.org is one of those politically motivated organizations that like to reach out to the youth with their edgy style. I guess there aren’t many people like me who enjoy politics for its natural excitement, so I can appreciate their efforts. I especially appreciate their photo show tonight by Reka Nyari, titled “Political Monogamy“. Click the image above for an enlarged view of all the details on the event.
The old Acme Leather Belting Company building on Lorimer St. and Metropolitan Ave. in Bushwick, Brooklyn. There is something about vintage business signs and lettering that I just love. Even though the paint is faded and half obstructed, the sign still shines through and I can only imagine how great it once looked.
I spotted this billboard for the Village Voice walking down Delancey Street, after finishing my walk over the Williamsburg Bridge (and no I don’t live in Williamsburg, so kiss my non-hipster boo-tay). I guess gentrificationville wouldn’t fit on the billboard (I’m talking to you Blue)!
Here are a few other snapshots from my morning commute over the Willy B.
I’ll sell you this pic for some magic beans (beans is slang for bags of money, with dollar signs on them)!
Revs and Peak still running!
This got me all excited, and then I found out it’s a band.
