Skywriting to End LA’s Mural Moratorium

Looking to restore Los Angeles’ former title as the ‘Mural Capital of the World’ and end the mural moratorium currently in effect, SABER and the MSK crew took their art to the skies. RISK x RETNA for Oceans at Risk

Looking to bring awareness to the plight of our world’s oceans, Adam Corlin joined forces with Heal the Bay and enlisted RETNA and RISK to paint a mural on the side of his property. The intent of the mural – to make “you stop, look, listen and react”. More info after the break.

Maurizio Cattelan | L.O.V.E.

Originally titled “‘omnia munda mundis,’ meaning ‘to the pure men, all things are pure,’ Mario Cattelan’s “L.O.V.E.” stands in front of the stock exchange building in Milan, Italy. At approximately 13 feet in height, Mario is leaving it up to the viewer to determine if it is really love that this middle finger is sending out.
